The Stowe Triathlon takes place Sunday, May 18, and police are warning of traffic delays and urging motorists to drive carefully.
The bicycle portion of the triathlon starts at 10 a.m. from the Swimming Hole on Weeks Hill Road. There will be traffic delays on Weeks Hill Road, and at the intersections between Route 108 and Weeks Hill Road, Route 100, Luce Hill Road and Cape Cod Road, Stowe police said.
The cyclists will also betravel on Route 100, Route 108, Moscow Road, Nebraska Valley Road, Barrows Road, Luce Hill Road and Cape Cod Road. Police advise motorists to drive with caution.
