Dec. 25, 6:05 p.m., police stopped a vehicle for a moving violation on Route 15 in Essex. Police charged Nicole Jennison, 47, of Cambridge with driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless and negligent driving.
On Dec. 20 between 9:30 and 11 p.m., Vermont State Police conducted a drunken driving/sobriety checkpoint on Route 100 in Waterbury. The Washington County Sheriff’s Department and the Barre City and Barre Town police departments assisted with staffing and running the checkpoint.
