Morrisville Co-op

The Morrisville Co-op will hold a new series, Community Talks, beginning on Thursday, June 18, from 6 to 7 p.m. at its future home at 46 Pleasant St., Morrisville. The talks will feature interesting people doing interesting things in the community.

The first speaker is Theresa Snow, founder and executive director of Salvation Farms, a nonprofit with the mission of building increased resilience in Vermont’s food system through agricultural surplus management. She will describe what her organization is doing to make good use of food that would otherwise be wasted and how this benefits the most vulnerable and food insecure in the community. The talks are free and open to all.
