Part-time Stowe resident Danielle Virtue was among new members named to the U.S.
Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation recently.
Virtue graduated from Middlebury College, where she was the captain of the women’s ski team. She is a former executive with AIG, Integrated Resources and Sotheby’s. She skis at Stowe.
Virtue was among three new members. The other two are Austin Beutner of Los Angeles and Andrew Davis of Santa Fe.
The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation is the nonprofit fundraising arm of the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing. Incorporated in 1964, the foundation raises money to support year-round athlete training, development, competition and educational needs.
