Creative Workforce Solutions, in conjunction with the Green Mountain Technology & Career Center and the Lamoille Workforce Investment Board, is sponsoring a 10-hour Safety Certification Training, offered May 13 and 14 at 4 p.m. at the career center in Hyde Park.
This course is a learning opportunity for those seeking employment or working in a skilled trade. Business owners and contractors can enroll employees to help maintain a safe and productive workplace.
Steve Nutting, a registered outreach instructor at the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), brings over 20 years of experience in the field as the Northeast Regional Safety Engineer at PC Construction in South Burlington. Topics include OSHA’s “Focus Four” hazards, fall protection, electrocution, injury prevention, personal protective equipment, health hazards and more.
