The Manor in Morrisville recently promoted three licensed nursing assistants to advanced LNA 2 positions. Each have been recognized for their commitment to the profession and their strong leadership qualities, including excellent clinical, communication, problem solving, and mentoring skills.
The three are May Trudeau of Hardwick, Lisa Andrus of Morrisville and Cathy Fuller of Waterville, who have met the eligibility criteria and have been recommended by other LNAs, registered nurses and license practical nurses to receive this honor.
Accomplishments of this group include development of policy and procedure, quality assurance studies, coaching and mentoring for new and existing staff, certification in palliative care and systems that support resident preferences.
“As LNA 2s, the staff at The Manor are recognized for their leadership qualities and are committed to being good role models for LNAs new to the profession, as well as experienced LNAs who are joining The Manor team,” administrator Lynn Smith said. “At all times, the LNA mission is to have the well-being of the residents be the priority. The needs of the residents come first, because they, the residents, are the reason we are here.”
