Jolley convenience store and car wash at 911 S. Main St., Stowe, was one of the top three fundraisers in a company effort that raised $51,575 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
From Feb. 1 to March 17, company employees invited customers to buy a shamrock pin for $1, and also organized special events to boost the campaign.
Lucas LaMonda, manager of the Jolley store in Stowe, led the local effort to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which strives to find a cure for muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular diseases.
The other top fundraisers in the Jolley campaign were stores in Lake George, N.Y., and Hanover, N.H.
