The Helen Day Art Center in Stowe has received an $80,000 multiyear grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to support artists and bring new visual arts programs to town.

Stowe Mountain Resort was forced to end its winter season nearly a month early because of the coronavirus, but it will open around the usual time for summertime fun — albeit of a decidedly low-key variety.


The Vermont House has unanimously passed a $300 million aid package for the state’s health care industry, while the Senate advanced a budget bill that will fund the state government for the first three months of the upcoming fiscal year. 


The Spruce Peak complex at Stowe Mountain Resort has established Spruce Peak Cares, an initiative to support charitable organizations that are helping Stowe and Vermont to get through the coronavirus crisis and recover afterward.


Hannaford Supermarkets will donate $250,000 to support local farms impacted by COVID-19 across New England and New York.

Stowe Story Labs has received a $20,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for its “Opportunity Gap” program for outreach and inclusion of diverse participants.

Whitney Boland, a licensed acupuncturist, has opened On Point Acupuncture at 996 S. Main St., Stowe, upstairs from Little River Chiropractic Center.
