For this moment I am alive.
I can run and not have to hide.
For this moment I am brave.
I feel like everything is on my side.
For this moment I am wild,
Like the deer running free.
For this moment, I am me.

Summer… Spring… Winter… Fall — the four magical seasons we experience in Vermont. I like living in the Northeast because you get the full effects from all four seasons, unlike the South where it is basically one season — hot.
Here in Vermont, for one quarter of the year it’s bright and sunny, another quarter of the year it’s muddy and fun, another quarter is cold and snowy, and the last quarter warm-ish and colorful…
Here comes mud season! Spring is arriving and it’s warm, muddy, and so much fun! The flowers are blooming, the animals are coming out of hibernation, and the school year is almost over. I like spring because my sister and I have mud fights, and my birthday is in March. I love spring!

All this talk about people being different,
Talk, tiny, tinsel talk, really
Meaningless mouthy mumbo jumbo.
I have a dream that floats above the clouds to infinity...
One day there will be no bullying or cyber-bullying,
Useless acts of mouthy mental meanness.
I have a dream that floats above the clouds to infinity...
Everybody will be included,
Nobody will feel left out.
When all they’re doing is being themselves.
I have a dream that floats above the clouds into infinity...
Everybody will be united, as a family of puzzle pieces
Forming a big, beautiful masterpiece, sharing spaces of kindness.
I have a dream that floats above the clouds to infinity...
People being themselves and accepted.
