Last week’s column inadvertently used the photo of the 154 students who competed for prizes in the Stowe Public School Races in place of the photo of former editor Paul Hughes. Here is the correct photograph and caption:
EDITOR DRAFTED
Paul Hughes, pictured in his familiar role as Editor of the Stowe Reporter, has been drafted for two years by Uncle Sam. He and his wife Ann are now on vacation in Bermuda prior to reporting to duty on April 12.
The April 14, 1967, edition once again had Ricky Skinger on the front cover:
