Jennifer McKay Myers, a teacher/community coordinator at Central Vermont Adult Basic Education, accepts the contribution from George Lewis on behalf of the Stowe Rotary Club.

The Rotary Club of Stowe recently contributed $500 to Central Vermont Adult Basic Education in support of the organization’s free adult literacy services for Stowe adults and teens. On average, 14 Stowe residents are helped each year through CVABE’s education. Students receive services at nearby learning centers in Morrisville and Waterbury or sometimes at the Stowe Library or other local sites.
