The Independence weekend show “Escape Into Summer” will open with an artists’ reception Saturday, July 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Vermont Fine Art Gallery in the Gale Farm Center, 1880 Mountain Road, Stowe. The exhibit features works by Bob Aiken, Elisabeth Wooden, Lisa Angell, and Jack Liberman. Aiken will be introducing a new contemporary style portrait. There will be live music by Chris Peterman on saxophone, and refreshments will be served.
