Isa Echarte Drekter and Winter Gascoyne of Stowe Middle School, Ashley Hill and Joseph Yando of Peoples Academy in Morrisville, and Cameron Kennedy and Madeline Waterman of Lamoille Union Middle School in Hyde Park were recognized at the 17th annual Vermont Scholar Leader awards banquet June 4 at Norwich University in Northfield.
The awards are presented through the Vermont Association for Middle Level Education and the New England League of Middle Schools. Eighty-seven students from 44 schools were honored this year.
