An American Red Cross blood drive will be held on Friday, Jan. 10, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post on Pleasant Street in Morrisville. Each pint of blood can save at least two people
The canteen sponsors are the Lamoille County VFW Auxiliary 9653, Morrisville American Legion and Auxiliary 33, Hyde Park VFW Auxiliary 7779, Community National Bank, and Laraway Youth & Family Services. There will be a live remote broadcast from WLVB thanks to Roland LaJoie.
During January, every Dunkin’ Donuts will give blood donors a free pound of coffee. In addition, each donor will receive a free Bijou Theater movie ticket.
Walk-ins are welcome or call 1-800-Red Cross for an appointment.
