Elmore Roots Nursery will hold a tree pruning workshop on Sunday, April 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. and a tree and berry pruning workshop on Sunday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to noon at 631 Symonds Mill Road in Elmore.
The workshops will include tips on safety and a look at essential tools as well as proper technique and fundamental pruning theory. The workshops include demonstrations on various types of trees and plants, open discussion and hands-on fun. Bring your questions, specific situations and challenges. Dress very warmly and wear good boots.
