A committal service for Rita Buchanan of Stowe, who died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, will be held Sunday, May 31, at 2 p.m. at Riverbank Cemetery in Stowe. Faith Funeral Home if Morrisville is assisting the family.

Rita Buchanan of Stowe died peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, two days before her 87th birthday. Her photo shows her with an 8-pound sockeye salmon in Haines, Alaska, in 2008.
