Dale Elton Percy was 11 years old in 1937 when his parents moved him, along with his older sister Lucille, and younger siblings Dana and Phyllis to Stowe.

Freya Chaffee, born in Highgate Springs, on Jan. 18, 1942, died Aug. 28 in her home in Waterbury, surrounded by love, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

William (Bill) M. Cannon, 82, of Stowe, died at his home, on Aug. 11, 2020, due to Parkinson’s disease.

Bill Cannon of Stowe died at home on Aug. 11, 2020, due to complications of end stages of Parkinson’s disease. A private service will be held. A full obituary will be in Aug. 27 edition of the Stowe Reporter.

Jason Elihu Goodell, 35, of Hyde Park, died unexpectedly at his childhood home at 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020.

Jeanpaul Patnode, 85, of Cape Canaveral, Fla., died under hospice care on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020. Born in West Hartford, Conn., his parents were Paul Fleming Patnode and Elizabeth (Betty) Mary Patnode.

John (Jack) Vincent Morrissey, Sr., 88, died at home in Stowe, on Aug. 5, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Jack was born in Woonsocket, R.I., on Feb. 7, 1932, the youngest born to Eugene F. and Elizabeth G. (Mahon) Morrissey. The family moved to Burlington later that year.
