The annual free Halloween party for children ages 12 and under will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hyde Park Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7779 on Route 15. The Rainbow girls from Sterling Assembly will be helping again this year.
Every child will receive a treat bag. Refreshments will be served. There will be games, a clown and a haunted house.
Cash prizes by age groups will be given for the best costumes and for poster drawings created at the party on the theme of “Say No to Drugs.” Drawing supplies will be available at the party.
