Vermont Student Assistance Corp. will offer free workshops to help families fill out financial aid forms on Tuesday, Jan. 13, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Stowe High School library; Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 6 p.m. at the Peoples Academy Computer lab; Thursday, Jan. 15, at 5:30 p.m. at Harwood Union High School; and Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 21 and 22, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only (call guidance) at Lamoille Union High School.
These informal workshops offer guidance on filling out the FAFSA, or Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and Vermont grant forms. Students and parents can also ask questions and learn about the college financial aid process, including scholarships.
