Reservations should be made no later than today, Thursday, Oct. 15, for Copley Hospital Auxiliary’s fall luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Charlmont Restaurant’s banquet room in Morrisville. The luncheon begins at 10 a.m. with a short business meeting, followed by the guest speakers, Copley Hospital’s general surgeon Donald Dupuis, MD, and Morristown officials Todd Thomas and Tricia Follert. The luncheon is open to the public. The cost is $13.
Todd Thomas, Morrisville’s planning, zoning and health officer, and Tricia Follert, the community development coordinator, will provide a snapshot of recent community improvements that help community members and visitors make healthier choices. They will also talk about the upcoming sidewalk project. Dr. Dupuis, Copley’s new general surgeon, will talk about the hospital’s general surgical program.
