The North Country Animal League will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, June 10, at the Green Mountain Inn in Stowe. A reception will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the business meeting. This year’s theme is “recognition.”
Steve Reiman, Therapy Dogs of Vermont founder, will be the featured speaker. The Jacob Baker Animal Rescue Courage Award will be presented to Jacob Baker for his heroic actions in the Eden animal cruelty case. Other highlights include board recognition and annual volunteer and business awards, as well as recognition of outgoing board president Jenny Walton. Light snacks will be available and a cash bar.
