Stowe Vibrancy plans 4th of July celebration
Stowe Vibrancy is organizing the third annual “Stowe’s Old-Fashioned Fourth of July” celebration on Saturday, July 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The highlight of the celebration is the Main Street Parade. A number of parade entries are signed up, but a limited number of openings are still available for clubs, bands, civic organizations, sports organizations, church groups, and businesses. ‘All American’ theme in Morrisville
The theme of this year’s Independence Day in Morrisville is “All American Holiday.” The parade will begin, weather permitting, on Saturday, July 4, at 11 a.m. and follow the traditional route. Events for the whole family are currently being planned for the early evening at the Peoples Academy fields. Northstar will once again put on a spectacular fireworks display following the day’s events. Independence Day at Smuggs
The Smugglers’ Notch Area Chamber of Commerce has announced celebration plans for Saturday, July 4. This year’s theme is “heroes.”
A parade begins at 10 a.m. at the G.W. Tatro parking lot, ending Cambridge Elementary School with an awards ceremony at 11 a.m. Woedoggies will perform Americana music. A country fair, with food, crafts and games, including frog jumping at 1 p.m., will continue until 2 p.m.
Events at Smugglers’ Notch Resort include an old-fashioned firefighters’ barbecue at 5 p.m., music from 6 to 8 p.m. on the Village Green, a performance by the 40th Army Band at 8 p.m., and fireworks at dusk.
