Andrew Volansky has all the blueprints for success.
The Stowe architect is evidently popular — he was voted No. 1 best architect and architectural designer — and he puts it down to his engineering mind.
He says the artistry of buildings drew him to develop that engineering predilection.
“I’ve always had an interest in engineering, but the design piece was a real strong draw for me. I still wanted to understand the complexities of how buildings stand up and how buildings get put together. The design portion of architecture is what drew me into engineering,” Volansky said.
Right now, he’s working on a modern building, going into Morrisville, that will have exposed concrete walls and lots of glass. He’s excited about it, and can’t wait to see it take physical form.
Volansky’s good vibes in the community put him on the top floor in this year’s 4393 Awards.
