Champlain Valley Union’s Richard Lowrey III, age 16, earned his first victory of his racing career on Friday night, July 4 in front of a packed grandstand at Devils Bowl Speedway in Fair Haven. Lowrey started mid-field then battled Stephen Donahue of Graniteville with door-to-door action packed racing in the 20-lap Renegade Feature for the win.
