To the Editor:

I was appalled at the story that this young person killed two people and was given a fine of $220.00. I am by a senior and hope that my life is worth more than $110.00.

First the judge probably plays golf with grandpa from Charlotte. Second if this would have been a Black person he would be in jail for life.

Third writing that this young person comes from a prominent Atlanta family. Who cares, a crime is a crime.

Fourth why did the police let her take her cellphone and did not check it if she was texting.

There is no explanation that a young person crosses the center line and does this without being distracted by something.

I am very upset and mad about this. Hope the young female has a permanent disability to remind her that she killed two people.
