On a chilly Thursday, Feb. 4, supporters gathered at the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory to help welcome Make-A-Wish Vermont to its new home.

After being impacted by COVID-19, Make-A-Wish was provided with donated offices from the Teddy Bear Company.

Make-A-Wish Vermont President and CEO James Hathaway said “This gift from Vermont Teddy Bear Company gives us a stable base, so we can focus on what we do best: granting wishes.”

As part of the day’s events, wish kid Julia Chase, of Barre, received a new car to replace her hand-me-down Subaru. Soon she’ll head to college in style with her new ride.
