Red Clover and Dorothy Canfield Fisher Book Discussion for Homeschoolers: All homeschoolers are invited to join us on Friday, Dec. 19 from 10:30am to noon. Library Holiday Closures: The library will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 24 and Thursday, Dec. 25 so that our staff may celebrate the holiday with their families. We will also be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 31 and Thursday, Jan. 1 so our staff can help ring in the New Year and be ready to help you usher in 2015 with a good book, audiobook, movie or graphic novel the very next day!

What’s Your Wish for 2015? Express your hopes for what the New Year will bring by writing your wish on our bulletin board above the water fountain in the library. To the extent that your wishes have to do with the Pierson Library, we will do our best to make them come true! We will need your help, though, in achieving world peace in this very turbulent time.

Volunteers Wanted: Would you like to “give back” to the library by volunteering some of your time in 2015? We are in need of willing helpers to restock the shelves with returned items and otherwise assist in keeping the library up-to-date with all of our items arranged in order in their designated spots. You may sign up for a regular weekly slot or come in occasionally when you have a few hours to spare. Talk to Carol at the library if you are interested.
