The Humane Society of Chittenden County will host Purrrses for Paws on Thursday, Feb. 12. The funds raised from the event will cover the costs of caring for and responsibly re-homing the over 1,000 animals they accept each year.
Purrrses for Paws will be held at the Pizzagalli Center at Shelburne Museum from 6 to 8:30pm. Tickets are $25 and include one complimentary drink. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Donations of gently used or new purses, clutches and handbags are being accepted until Jan. 26 at the Humane Society of Chittenden County during the hours of 1pm–6pm Tuesday through Friday or 10am–4pm on Saturday.
