The third annual “A Show of HANDS” will feature 100 decorated wooden hands at Penny Cluse Café in Burlington for the month of March. A silent auction of the hands will take place on Thursday, April 2, from 5:30-7:30pm. The exhibit and auction are a benefit for Helping and Nurturing Diverse Seniors (HANDS), a local non-profit striving to close some gaps in getting food to older Vermonters. Holly Cluse, co-owner of Penny Cluse and co-president of HANDS, explained that the art show is “a win-win event because the community enjoys creative output from local artists and lucky bidders contribute to an essential need.”

Penny Cluse Café is located at 169 Cherry Street. Hours are Monday-Friday from 6:45am-3pm as well as weekends and holidays from 8am-3pm. For more info, please visit www.handsvt.org.
