To the Editor:

Dave has been my academic advisor, teacher and friend for nearly three years now, and through knowing him, he has enhanced and elevated my life in the right direction.

Dave is committed to the education and livelihood of young people, such as myself, and his dedication to his students is evident in his teachings. He has always been responsive and interested in all things going on in my life and my peers’ lives. His work in the world of education is a direct representation of how he has treated the city of South Burlington.

Balancing environmental and economic concerns have always been a hot topic and Dave is prepared to handle these issues. His career in the tourism industry has given him ample knowledge and experience in the business world, the outdoors and the intersect of these two concepts.

As a young adult who is now looking to stay in this state after my four years of college, I believe that Dave has helped make this happen. His city council work on providing jobs and affordable housing for future generations in this town is just one of the many reasons I believe that South Burlington would be a great place to live as I move forward in life.

Dave has done a lot to personally change my life and I believe that if he is re-elected to city council, he will change the lives of a lot of other young adults that wish to live and grow and South Burlington.
