Lenny Roberge turns 105

Happy birthday, Lenny!

South Burlington resident Lenny Roberge, aka “The Pie Man of Allenwood,” will celebrate 105 years next week with a party to be attended by family and friends at Allenwood, where he has resided independently for 10 years. Lenny, shown above cutting rhubarb from the garden at Allenwood in preparation for a strawberry-rhubarb pie, was previously featured on WCAX’s Super Seniors and is a proud World War II Navy Veteran. Lenny’s positive outlook and love and appreciation of life have enabled him to stay active, dining out with friends, reading, shopping and following his beloved Boston Red Sox. He is well known for his famous pies which he generously shares with many happy people.
