Sept. 9 at 1:02 p.m., police arrested Alan Bennion III, 36, of Eden, for domestic assault and criminal threatening, in the presence of a child, on Knowles Flat Road, Eden. Police say Bennion threatened the lives of several people with a weapon. He was lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility for lack of $2,500 bail.
