Our Sunday worship service was conducted by district superintendent Jill Colley Robinson. She spoke of God’s generosity as boundless. She contrasted generosity with complaining, linking that theme with the scripture readings from Exodus and Matthew.

Robinson spoke of the desert people in the wilderness complaining that God hadn’t provided enough for them. Yet they were given enough, both meat and manna. When God chooses to support us, there is enough for everyone. It is important to recognize God’s gift of life and love for us, his people.
