We met on Sunday to celebrate communion and focus on God’s message to us. Assisting pastor Sean Delmore to administer the sacraments were Lorraine Towne Cavaretta and newly welcomed church member Jill Paige. Patty Jacob served as musician for the worship service and played the carillon following the service.
Scripture passages from Psalm and Matthew were read by Todd Baxter. The sermon focused on salt and light. Delmore spoke of the way in which Jesus said we need to be both salt and light in the world. Biblical people of Israel had been living under occupation.
