National Novel Writing Month, an annual phenomenon of writers around the globe drafting a novel in 30 days, kicks off at the Jeudevine Memorial Library on Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 6:30-8 p.m.
This is the 25th year of the nonprofit NaNoWriM — National Novel Writing Month — encouraging creativity, education and the power of the imagination through its inclusive writing programs.
Since 1999, more than four million writers around the world have signed up for its flagship event of writing 50,000 words during November, making it the largest writing event in the world.
Bring a computer or pen and paper — or borrow from the library — and get your novel started. Tea, coffee and treats will be served.
