UPDATE: Police are describing the two deaths on Cady Hill Road as a murder-suicide. Chief Donald Hull said it was an "isolated incident" and the public is not in any danger. Police still have not released the names of the deceased individuals, pending notification of the family. The investigation continues.
Police found two dead bodies in a home on Cady Hill Road late Wednesday afternoon.
In a press release sent shortly after 9 p.m., Stowe Police Chief Donald Hull said the department is investigating the "untimely death" of two adults. Police have not yet released the names of the deceased.
The bodies were discovered at 262 Cady Hill Road at 4:38 p.m., police said. Stowe police are investigating, along with the Vermont State Police Crime Unit. Police said no further information is available at this time.
