A seven year-old girl was airlifted to Fletcher Allen Hospital after a car accident in Hyde Park left her injured.
On Aug. 30, around 3:15 p.m., Lamoille County Sheriff's Department, Hyde Park Fire and Northern Emergency Services responded to a report of a single-car accident in the area near 1004 Battle Row Road. The car was driven by Chris Cole, 39, of Hyde Park, and was headed west on Battle Row when it crossed over the eastbound lane and went off off the road, hitting a tree. Cole’s 7-year-old passenger was taken to Copley and then airlifted to Fletcher Allen.
Neither speed nor alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, police say.
